LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We at Point Piper Group Pty Ltd (ACN 670 429 866) trading as LA LUMIERE SKIN strive to ensure the quality and safety of our products.

The LA LUMIERE SKIN Multifunctional LED Light Therapy Tool is registered with the TGA as a Class 1 device (ARTG ID 447697) and is a low-risk device. This device is designed to perform LED light therapy, EMS, sonic vibration and therapeutic heat and may assist with improving the appearance of blemishes, puffiness and dark circles, improving visible signs of ageing, preventing breakouts and enhancing skin clarity and texture. This product is for use on the face and neck only.

As with any product, there are risks, such as risk of burns involved in the use of our product. By purchasing and using our product, you assume these risks and responsibility for any loss or damage caused, directly or indirectly, by these risks. If you have any health issues or are unsure whether this product is right for you, you must consult with your medical or health practitioner before purchasing and using our product.

You must not use this product if you have undergone facial surgery, are taking photosensitising medications, have any metal implants in your face, neck or head or have any electronic implanted devices, are under 18 years of age, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have epilepsy, have cardiac pacemakers or are using hearing aids. You must not use this product on injured, burnt or broken skin, warts, moles and birthmarks or areas of active infections or severe acne. You must not use this product on thighs, buttocks, back, belly, arms, hands, legs, feet, cleavage, underarms and genitals. You must not share this product with another person, as doing so may increase the risk of spreading infection and cross-contamination.

As with any medical device, there is no guarantee of any success, and results may vary from person to person depending on factors such as skin type, skin sensitivity, complexion and the like.

You must use the product in accordance with the instructions set out in the user manual and for the specific purposes described therein. Any misuse or use of the product for purposes other than intended may result in injuries or accidents. We will not be responsible or liable for any injury or accident resulting from the misuse or use of the product for purposes other than intended.

Our product is not designed to be used with other medical devices. You must, therefore, not use the product with other medical devices. If you use our product with other medical devices, then we will not be liable for any injury or harm suffered.

 To the full extent permitted by the law, we will not be held responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product.

 WARRANTY

 The LA LUMIERE SKIN Multifunctional LED Light Therapy Tool is covered by one year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty does not affect or limit your rights under Australian Consumer Laws. 

This warranty does not apply to products purchased for the purposes of resupply. This warranty does not apply to damages or issues with the product caused by:

a.      Normal wear and tear (including but not limited to scratches and dents);

b.      Accident (including dropping the product);

c.      Misuse (including unreasonable use, failure to follow user instructions and use that falls outside the scope of the user instructions and use for purposes other than intended);

d.      Abuse;

e.      Negligent use;

f.       Improper storage;

g.  Improper or inadequate maintenance, service or cleaning of the product;

h.      Repair, maintenance, alterations, service, upgrades, expansion, disassembly, or opening of the product by anyone not authorised by us;

i.       Use of defective, incompatible, unauthorised or non-standard parts, products or accessories; or

j.       External causes, such as, but not limited to, fire, extreme temperature, water, moisture, dampness, liquid touching or entering the product, other foreign material entering the product, dirt, rust, corrosive conductions (including salt and sand).
